Shubham works on supporting the digital platform community for financial health at Access, she is a development professional having 12+ years of experience working in the field of - financial inclusion, livelihoods, CSR, promotion of Indian arts and culture, philanthropy etc to help impact-driven organizations in Asia. Having crafted her career around social entrepreneurship and impact investing, she brings a wealth of experience of working with various social enterprises like farmer producer companies, artisan co-operatives, microfinance institutions, incubators and accelerators, for-profit social enterprises, impact funds, etc across India. Over these years, she has learned the art of putting markets to work for profit and social good, the management of different personality types within the team, and adaptation of different work cultures. Her past roles have given her a strong background in delivering profitable projects at the intersection of business and development especially in emerging markets across the world.
Sabina Yasmin

Sabina is a Senior Research Fellow and anchors the financial well-being and social protection vertical at LEAD. She has also served as a Bharat Inclusion Research Fellow at CIIE at IIM. She was also awarded a research Fellowship by government of India- MANF while pursuing her doctorate on agricultural insurance in India with special focus on Assam.
Her research interests are in the areas of applied microeconomics, understanding risk and resilience, social protection with a special interest in rural economy and through a gender lens. Her interest in behavioural economics led her to pursue a course on experimental economics in Tinbergen institute in University of Amsterdam where she was part of the team to conduct experiments in the CREED lab. In her role at LEAD she has led multiple projects on impact evaluation of various government programs, policies and intervention with stakeholders like the government of Andhra Pradesh, World Bank, Deshpande Foundation; scoping study on meso level insurance in agriculture for CIIE.CO under the BIRF; evaluating climate resilient agricultural practices by the farmers of India and Nepal funded by ICIMOD. She has also led the Evidence Gap map for the CGIAR gender platform. She is currently working on understanding how to influence savings outcomes of the women beneficiaries of availing financial services from public sector banks through agent based models in collaboration with women's world banking. Besides being passionate about solving problems for improving financial lives and building resilience for the low income households and adding value by bringing rich insights and knowledge from the field on implementing and designing programs and evaluations ; she loves to travel, trek and enjoys cooking, painting and knitting in her free time.
Sampurna Basu

Sampurna Basu is a Research Associate with the Financial Well-being and Social Protection vertical at LEAD. She has a Master's degree in Public Policy from George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. Her research interests are in evaluation work in the field of social protection and reproductive health. Sampurna has worked on various qualitative and quantitative projects, assisting with stakeholder management, field operations & data cleaning and report writing. During her time here, she has worked on a study assessing agent based models and its efficacy in generating paid employment for women in Chhattisgarh, in collaboration with Haqdarshak. She is currently working on two studies, assessing the impact of agent based models in savings behaviour and outcomes amongst beneficiaries, along with Women's World Banking. Prior to this, she worked as a pro bono consultant and assisted with research work on development priorities for the Early-Stage Evaluation of the Human Capital Index at the Independent Evaluation Group, World Bank. Sampurna's other interests include reading fiction and travelling to historical sites.
Radhika Agashe

Radhika has the overall responsibility of oversight of programme implementation and new programme development at ACCESS, apart from leading the global Inclusive Finance Platform for knowledge and policy influencing on financial inclusion. She specializes in the thematic areas of financial and business education, microfinance operations, Self Help Group model, and social performance management through over two decades of experience in program implementation, development of content for training and communication, convening forums and policy dialogues and conducting social research. Earlier as Executive Director of ACCESS ASSIST, she led the organization?s work in three broad areas ? conceiving and leading field-based projects in financial and business capability building, providing technical assistance and consulting and convening the flagship Inclusive Finance India platform. She has coordinated various policy discussions and state of practice studies for promoting an enabling institutional and regulatory framework for financial inclusion in India. She has actively represented her organization on the India Responsible Finance Forum led by the IFC.
Radhika has in the past been associated with many reputed organizations, such as EDA Rural Systems, Indian Grameen Services (BASIX), Intellecap, Sambodhi Research & Communications, and Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN). She holds a post-graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM). She enjoys traveling to natural habitats with a penchant for bird watching and exploring forest trails.

Subhadip leads the work of i3-Access program on collaboratives specially the gig workers and elderly. He holds a master?s degree in Development from Azim Premji University and has done a certificate program from IIM Indore in Fintech. He is a seasoned professional in consulting and implementation with more than 11 years of experience in microfinance, inclusive finance, financial wellbeing, and other cross-thematic areas like Institution building, enterprise promotion, livelihoods promotion, migration, and gender mainstreaming in multiple projects in India. His interest areas are inclusive finance, digital inclusion, gender, migration, climate finance, etc. He has been associated professionally with Arohan Financial Services Pvt Ltd, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, BASIX Consulting and Technology services ltd, and MicroSave Consulting, to name a few. Subhadip belongs to Tripura, India. Other than professional interests he is also an occasional cartoonist and a sculptor and an avid traveller.

Nelson Mathews is a Senior Research Associate with the Data Innovations vertical within LEAD. He holds a Master?s degree in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University, Bangalore and his research interests cover social protection, public service delivery, and program evaluation. Prior to joining LEAD, Nelson worked as a Research Assistant with J-PAL South Asia. He manages direct supervision of the research team, designs data collection tools, meets with key stakeholders, trains and capacitates the research team and helps with data analytics, report writing and survey data supervision.
